Blended Families…Let’s Celebrate Them!

There are more and more blended families out there showing us all how you can navigate divorce and remain a family on the other side.

For so many of the couples with children that we see, their biggest fear is that divorce will be damaging for their children. But research has consistently shown that what causes emotional harm to children isn’t divorce itself- it’s being exposed to their parents’ entrenched conflict. So if an adult relationship isn’t working anymore, sometimes divorce can be the best solution, enabling a new co-parenting approach in which everyone can thrive.

So here’s a shout-out today to all the blended families embracing a positive approach to co-parenting after divorce.
