Divorce At Work

It’s often said that it takes at least a year to recover from a close bereavement, but recovery from a divorce can take longer still. And although many employers operate bereavement policies for key staff, how many do likewise for divorce?

Not nearly enough. A recent UK study found 60% of divorcing respondents found their mental health impacted by divorce, with 10% leaving their employment within a year later.
