A third of separating couples now end up in court over their children

The Nuffield Foundation report highlights that a third of separating families now end up in Court over their children, not a tenth as previously believed. A quarter of the cases in Court have no serious safeguarding issues. The report finds that the Court process itself risks escalating conflict to a point where it is harmful. This is now viewed as a public health issue.

Early intervention is critical- by the time a couple is in Court it’s far too late. We are determined to offer couples a better way to reach fair outcomes together and without exacerbating conflict for their families.
